Still on east coast time and got an early start and was one the road by 6:30 am. The weather was perfect for riding with temperatures starting in the 50s and reaching the low 70s, blue skies, and no wind. The question that I had was to ride 44 miles to the only camp site along the route or do the entire 100 miles to Astoria. The question was quickly answered based on how well I was doing. By 11 am I was at the campsite but just continued on. By 1 am I had 70 miles already completed with only 30 more to go. I pulled into Astoria by 3:15.
