Traffic is definitely getting heavier today. It was noticeable almost immediately. The opening of the TransCanada Highway is the primary reason. Or, maybe it is because today is Sunday and people are going home for the weekend or starting vacations. Whatever, the change in traffic is noticeable. The shoulders are still great nonetheless.
It was getting hot, which is expected as I am now in the Interior of British Columbia. It could be hotter but I will take it I knew this would be a short day simply because of the locations of places to stay in the direction I am going.
When I got into Kamloops it was pretty sleepy, as I expected. I was able to get to my campsite early and do what I needed to do. The campsite was pretty full but everyone stuck themselves.
