It is going to be a good day. The wind has shifted and I have somewhat of a tailwind. Not a full tailwind but one that make the pedaling easier. Not to mention it appears perfectly flat. There is also the town of Kindersley almost in the middle of the ride and has all the resources I need. It is flat and it is boring. It is just mile after mile in the saddle.
When I crossed the border into Saskatchewan I was very disappointed that there was not a “Welcome to Saskatchewan” sign. I guess the road is not important enough to warrant such a sign from the province. Tonight it is camping in something that is not more than a field. There are vault toilets and designated camping spots but no picnic tables and no running water. But the price right. There isn’t one. There is a gas station/convenience store across the street to purchase water, beer and use the restroom. There is only one other camper at the site; a truck towing a trailer. It was a quiet night.
