Today was one of the days. Good tailwinds, flat and an early start. The winds made the riding very enjoyable and I felt like I could go further. I wish I could have but there was virtually nothing beyond Rosetown for the next 60 miles. In addition, clouds were forming in the northwest and rain was predicted to start late in the afternoon and through the evening hours. Of course the rain that came later in the afternoon was passing but it did rain for a large portion of the night.
Just like the last 5 or 6 days the terrain is still the same. It is flat with the exception of a few hills to climb. There are fields of grain and then there are more fields of grain. There are not many trees to be found unless they are in the towns or surrounding the farm homesteads.
