A well deserved rest day of sleeping, eating and keeping my butt off the bike.
On this day I went to the Klondike Cafe for breakfast. That was based on the previous night were the dinner given to me was enormous and cheap.
At breakfast there only a few customers. There 3 people sitting at the table across the aisle and 2 two tables away. This really a story of how people make decisions without being informed. One of the people at the 3 person table pulled up an article, on his phone, and said that Nike supports China. One of the other people at the table, a white male in his 50s or 60s said “That is enough I am going to boycott Nike”.
When I looked over at him I concluded that he was already boycotting Nike and probably has for 20 years already. He was grossly overweight, wearing cowboy boots, jeans, and a western shirt. Now if they would have done a little research they would have learned that China citizens are boycotting Nike, yet Nike still sees the potential market there based on the work done by the Nike founder, Phil Knight.
