It is another zero day and after a week with two century rides it was time for an off day. But my off day was a busy one. I wanted to tour an underground salt mine. It was on the outskirts of Hutchinson so I rode there. I don’t like riding on my off days but today was an exception. The mine was very cool and part of the mine is still actively mined. The part of the mine I was in was 650 feet underground and the ceilings were typically 13 feet high. The tour took place in the part of the mine that I was in was mined in the 1950s and 60s. In total the tour took and a look at the museum was 3.5 hours. It was worth it.
