The day started with the beginning of another overnight flat tire. Once that was pumped it was time to climb another mountain pass, Ochoco Pass. It was long, it was steep but it was not too bad. There was clearly areas where a forest fire swept through the mountain side in the past couple of years. Once to the top of the pass it was a long downhill to Prineville. Of course we were stopping once in a while to check the tire and re-fill it with air.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we got into Prineville it was hot and time to find another bike store to get the tire checked out. In the bike store the mechanics could not find a leak so it made sense to replace the existing tube with a new one. Once fixed it was too late in the afternoon to start the journey to Sisters so the decision to stay in Prineville as made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
